Newsletter 13.02.15.

Dear Parents,

It's been an exciting end to the half term.  Please see below for all of this week's 'happenings':

Percy the Persevering Turtle
We have been busy looking out for children who have being trying really hard and not giving up when a task becomes challenging.  This week we noticed Pristine did not give up whilst learning to use the bats and balls in the big playground.  Well done!

Learning about Tet
We listened two traditional stories about the Vietnamese new year.  The first was the story behind the importance of pink flowers and the second was about why Banh Tet is eaten.  We also read different versions of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' since this year is the year of the goat.

The children have also been busy preparing for new year in our 'Tet home' role play area.  They have been cooking special rice cakes, ironing Ao Dai and decorating the blossom tree.

We hope you enjoyed the pineapple candy that the children made this week!  Please see below for notices and photos.

Happy New Year!

Ms Gurvinder and the F2 team.
